Common questions

Is it free?

Yes. There's no charge for using SolarQuote Group and no obligation to go ahead. If you do, you pay the installer directly. We may be paid by the installer for the introduction, which doesn't change your price.

Who will contact me?

The solar installer we match you with, chosen from installers who cover your postcode. We'll show you who they are before you share your details. They'll get in touch by WhatsApp, text or a call to talk through what you need.

Do you cover my area?

We check as soon as you enter your postcode. If no installer covers you yet, we'll tell you straight away and won't ask for your details.

Do I need a battery?

No. Panels work on their own, and a battery can usually be added later. The installer can explain the difference for your home when they quote.

What happens to my details?

We only use them to arrange your quote. Our privacy policy explains how we use, share and protect them.
